I am grateful to be able to find ways to help myself and others heal through laughter, music, meditation, nature, Reiki, yoga, and play every day. I love learning and exploring the natural world while teaching students about their inner nature and how to live in harmony with the two. I encourage everyone I meet, including those reading this right now, to truly believe in their own superpowers. Psst.. your superpower is being you – fully, authentically expressing your awesomeness. No one else is you. Soooooooooo…..

Sovereignty: The Blueprint for Principled Organization in a Chaotic World

A workshop by Noor Mitri

July 28  9 am –   Haywire Barn

What does it mean to be truly human? It’s a question as old as time, debated endlessly across cultures and history, and lost in the endless surrounding ideologies. When we observe history we realize that the last version of the common human character was a direct result of the idea of universal human rights. A premise that sadly is currently being assassinated by overwhelming corruption of the essence of the human spirit. This is evident in the horrors of unfolding wars, pandemics, ideological conflicts and economic uncertainties; and if we crowned it all with the possibility of extinction due to environmental crises, we begin to see an overwhelming recipe for giving up, opening the doors of radicalization.

Meanwhile political puppetry, where the strings are pulled by the highest bidders, lead us into a parade of collapsing institutions…

Noor, a Syrian Canadian artist deeply affected by war, foresaw this grim reality 13 years ago. Moving to Canada, he struggled to break through his dual existence, rooted in traditional eastern philosophies of collectivism, and discovering western individualism.

With the 13 years war on Syria, Noor’s existence fell into an extreme sense of disintegration, loss of hope, and questioning of faith. In desperation Noor asked the creator for assistance in maneuvering this world from hell, in order to apply himself for the salvation of his children, surrounding community and all that matters. What followed was a total reality collapse brought upon a brain injury resulting from a series of concussions and post concussion syndrome which lasted for years.

“I tried everything to recover from my brain injury—resting in dark rooms, sensory deprivation, and various brain training methods—but nothing worked. It felt like I was losing myself. In my desperation, I found my father’s 3,000-page Arabic Bible and began reading. This unexpected discovery set me on a 13-year journey of studying Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

But the quest for understanding didn’t stop there. I was drawn to explore the profound answers hidden in the study of geometry, leading me to insights about human organizational structures. I discovered that true human sovereignty and meaningful living often arise from knowledge and deliberate choices, in stark contrast to imposed templates. This journey taught me the value of individual sovereignty, offering a path to navigate my life.”

In this workshop, we’ll discuss the origin of human ideologies, and the concept of sovereignty as a building block for exploration and how it can shield the individual from the ‘Hunger Games’ of modern existence, providing a principled approach to navigating our chaotic reality.

“After long years of learning and personal application, with the blessing of the creator and learnt knowledge I successfully turned my vulnerability into a teacher. A teacher that taught me the value of key principles in order to become an individual and consciously build my human character in the play of life and destiny.”

Today, Noor is a three time recipient of Canada Council for the Arts strategic grants where he leads BeatsUnion, a human centric digital innovation and a global artist movement towards sovereignty, self-sustainability, and self governance. In addition, Noor manages his family restaurant in Regina, and leads artistic and educational events in support of the global peace movement and the world peace councils.

About the Workshop:

Join us for a profound storytelling into the mysterious concepts of sovereignty, simplified by precision of mathematics and geometry. Sovereignty is not just a political idea, but an eternal  truth in meaning. We’ll dive deep into the fundamental origins of ideologies and discover how sovereignty can act as a safeguard against the “Hunger Games” reality many of us face. This workshop isn’t just theoretical—but inspired from my personal journey as an artist, father. entrepreneur and ultimately as a human being.

What You’ll Experience:

  • Insightful Discussions: Explore the concept of sovereignty as a powerful framework for protecting human rights in a turbulent world.

  • Personal Reflections: Engage in a meditation session aimed at finding unity in our human experience.

  • Live Art and Music: You can also participate in interactive art and reflect on a musical journey curated by Noor, designed to inspire and uplift.

This workshop is not just a learning opportunity but a call to action—a chance to reclaim our sense of purpose and direction in a world that often feels off-course. Whether you’re looking to understand sovereignty on a deeper level or seeking practical strategies for personal resilience, this workshop promises to be an enriching experience.
