4th Annual Haywire Farm Festival July 24 - 26, 2026

Haywire Farm Festival is a community driven, not-for-profit event dedicated to celebrating Saskatchewan talent and strengthening rural arts and agricultural culture.  Each year, we bring musicians, artists, families, homesteaders, and visitors together on the Haywire Farm for three days of music, workshops, local food, and hands-on learning.

More than a festival, Haywire is a place to share knowledge, build skills, and connect with the land.  We proudly highlight the wisdom of local farmers, gardeners, makers, and small-scale producers who demonstrate what sustainable rural living looks like in real time.  From gardening and foraging to food preservation, herbalism, livestock care, and regenerative practices, guests have the opportunity to learn directly from the people who live and work this way every day.

As a non-profit organization, every dollar goes directly back into the festival and the community that makes it possible-paying artists fairly, supporting local farms and vendors, upgrading essential infrastructure, and expanding accessible programming.  We believe in transparency, collaboration, and building something meaningful with our neighbours, partners, and guests.  Haywire Farm Festival exists to celebrate creativity, uplift rural voices, inspire self-reliance, and create a welcoming space where people of all ages can gather, learn, and grow-together.

About your Host

Haywire Farm Festival is led by Patti Propp, a community-builder and small-farm advocate who took over her family’s land near Codette with a vision of creating a space where people can connect through music, art, agriculture, and hands-on learning.
Patti works year-round to steward the farm, support local producers, and build a festival that celebrates rural creativity and self-reliant living.  Her hope is that every guest leaves feeling inspired, grounded, and connected to both the land and the community around them.
Haywire Farm Festival takes place on the traditional lands of Treaty 6, home to the Cree, Dene, and Saulteaux peoples, and the Metis Nation.
We honor the Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land since time immemorial and remain committed to learning from the land, respecting its history, and supporting reconciliation through our practices and community relationships.
